Definitions

Scope
This policy applies to all personal information collected in connection with sage-api.ariv.ca (the ARIV public website for the Sage 50 Canada REST API).

No cookies or cross-site tracking on this site
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or online profiling on sage-api.ariv.ca in order to track you across other websites. You can browse this site without those technologies.
Note: Your browser, network, and device may still share technical data with the internet in the ordinary course, as described under server logs and hosting, below.
How we protect personal information
Access: Only people who need personal information to do their work may access it, and only the minimum required for that work.
Safeguards: We use a combination of physical, technological, and administrative measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including policies, training, and technical controls through our service providers, to help protect information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Further technical measures are described in agreements with our service providers, where applicable.
Information we collect in connection with this site
Server and hosting logs: As with most websites, our hosting provider and related technical services automatically process technical data (for example, IP address, request type, browser or client signals, and time of request) to operate, secure, and improve the service.
When you contact us: If you email us or use a contact link, we collect the address and content you send, and we use that information to respond to you and to follow up for ordinary business and support purposes, within the scope of that exchange.
No accounts: This public site does not use user accounts. We do not ask you to create a profile for browsing sage-api.ariv.ca.
Location of processing: The data above is processed and stored on servers provided by our hosting and service partners. It is used to operate the site, protect our systems, and support communications you initiate. We do not sell your personal information.
Data storage and location
Data collected through this site is stored on systems operated for us by our hosting and service providers, which may be located in Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions, subject to their agreements, applicable law, and the sensitivity of the information. We use the information to keep the service reliable and safe, and not for sale to third parties for their marketing.
Your rights (Law 25 and PIPEDA)
To the extent applicable, you have the right to be informed, to access your personal information, to have it rectified, to withdraw consent in appropriate cases, to obtain certain information about automated decisions, and, in Québec, to receive plain-language information about this policy, among other rights.
